Towards the end of the Tang Dynasty, a noble and his family have been captured for treason and rebellion against the ruling family. Through love, the daughter of the noble family was able to escape after the mother, father, and elder brother were able to create an opening. She runs deep into the forest to escape her captors and stumbles upon a buried crypt. She notices the hastily scrawled enchantments on the tomb and recite them poorly, summoning the White Bone Demon. They agree to merge through a contract of blood magic and go find their new life as a new entity: Jin.
